Horse Facility Barn Worker
Brookview Farm Brookview Farm Chalfont, PA Chalfont, PA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $13 - $15 an hour $13 - $15 an hour Brookview Farm, located in Warrington Township, is seeking part time barn staff for a private, no drama, 7-horse retirement farm.
Typical barn duties include stall cleaning, turn in/out, hay and water, light organization, etc.
The morning shift starts at 6:
00 AM and completed by about 8:
30 AM and the second shift starts at 6:
00 PM and is over about 8:
30 PM.
Opportunities for additional hours are available.
Shift schedules are the same for weekdays and weekends.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, experienced person who can undertake varied tasks with attention to detail and safety.
Responsibilities Professionally communicate with boarders (owners) and other employees Work independently and as a team to complete tasks assigned Perform other duties as assigned by the Barn Manager Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with reliable transportation required Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar horse role preferred Experience driving a tractor a plus Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
