Quad Chalfont is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician
Summary:
The Electrician must have well-rounded industrial electrical skills, and knowledge of set-up and repair of a broad range of production equipment, AC/DC drives PLCs, & relay logicThis position requires troubleshooting skills at the board levelThe wage range for this position is $20 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience levelWilling to train with some experience
Responsibilities:
Provide electrical support for all equipment and facilitiesDemonstrate skills in all phases of job responsibility including electrical troubleshootingSelf-development and development of interpersonal skillsREQUIREMENTS (Specific knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):
Experience troubleshooting systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controlsKnowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is helpfulAbility to read, create, and understand electrical schematics is requiredPC literacy and CAD experience are a plusFollows all Quad Graphics safety proceduresPerforms daily housekeeping functionsMaintains a work-safe environmentCleans spill immediatelyEnsures guards are in place at all timesEnsures electrical covers are in place at all timesWears proper hearing protection at all timesWears proper safety shoes at all timesLifts properlyAttends monthly Safety Talk department meetingsCan understand HMIS labels and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)Actively participates in safety programs, policies, and initiativesOther duties as assignedQualifications High School diploma or equivalent 5 years of maintenance experience on presses and folding or similar equipment in an industrial manufacturing settingKnowledge of diagnosis and repair of machinery electrical controlsThe ability to work a 12-hour night shift ( 6 p.m- 6 a.m.) including weekends, and holidays, working 3 - 4 days a week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and rotating Saturdays.
