Job Requirements:
US Citizen or Green Card HolderBS Degree in Electrical Engineering1-2 years experience with high voltage, high power utilities and/or power electronicsPreferred Skills:
Knowledge of three-phase AC power circuits, DC power circuits, and their principles/calculationsProficiency in selecting circuit components for specific current/voltage requirementsFamiliarity with current and voltage measuring equipmentUnderstanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution principlesJob
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute detailed test procedures based on industry standards or customer plans under the Head of High Voltage Lab (HVL)Manage equipment requirements for tests and oversee Test Operators, Technicians, and support personnelServe as a point of contact for customers during test programs at the KEMA Labs - Chalfont facilityEnsure compliance with KEMA Labs HSE and Quality Management programs during test programsDevelop test programs that incorporate necessary stipulations from approved quotesMonitor safety during test preparations and executions; provide technical direction as neededAnalyze results, prepare comprehensive written reports, and review findings with customers ensuring accuracy and standard complianceMaintain knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, IEC, UL, and other relevant standards for electrical/mechanical equipmentReview customer quotes for technical requirements; assist Head of HVL in developing new procedures and technologies Pay Details:
$65,000.
