Job Description
Operates all functions of the Converting Process, which includes coordinating, maintaining, monitoring, and supervising Image Operator(s), Assistant Operator(s), and Mailing Crew.
Monitors the quality of all finished products.
Reviews and sets up all equipment in a timely manner.
Ensures proper direction is given to press crew.
Performs Quality Checks on products.
Ensures that employees understand customer expectations.
Performs press O.K.'s in a professional manner.
Operates a Converting press and manages the press crew.
Performs routing maintenance on equipment.
Reads and understands a job bag, P.I.S. sheet, blue lines and templates.
Provides guidance to Press Assistant(s), Image Operator(s), and Mailing Crews.
Monitors the consumption and use of inks and glues.
Performs all press duties.
Able to operate peripheral equipment, such as Labelaires and micrometers.
Supervises all general activities of the press and press activities.
Provides training and direction to Press Assistant(s), Image Operator(s), and Mailing Crew.
Ensures that all work performed meets departmental guidelines and ISO standards.
Communicates daily information to crew.
Provides guidance, training, and support when necessary.
Follows all plant safety procedures.
Performs daily housekeeping functions.
Maintains a work safe environment.
Cleans spills immediately.
Ensures guards are in place at all times.
Wears proper PPE at all times.
Attends monthly "Safety Talk" departmental meeting.
Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 6 months as First Assistant
Minimum 6 months as an Image Operator
Minimum 6 months as a Second Assistant
Sensory Requirements: (Speech, Vision, Hearing
Directs crew through verbal communications, hand signals, bells, and buzzers.
Visually inspects products.
Able to distinguish color variations and image quality.
Able to hear equipment and crew.
Distinguisher the difference between bells and buzzers.
Repetitive use of hands in operation of equipment.
Simple grasping required up to 85 lbs.
Pushing and pulling required up to 2,000 lbs.
Fine manipulation required.
Lifting Weight Requirements
Up to 85 lbs. required 1 ? 33% of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
