Human Resources Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day HR responsibilities.
  • Interact with the JBT Automated Systems team in the US and Europe
  • Research employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Help organize employee recognition programs and events.
  • Assist with recruiting initiatives, including: positing job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Maintain HR related files.
  • Contribute to safety initiatives.
  • Update the HR intranet site.

Qualifications

  • Anticipated to graduate with a Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline from a college or university by June 2020.
  • Available to work full time during summer 2019.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Enjoys working collaboratively.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
