Industrial Engineer Intern

We have an opportunity for an Industrial Engineer Intern to work full time during 2019 in our Chalfont, PA office.
Responsibilities
The Industrial Engineer Intern will assist with the development and implementation of the following processes:
5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize & sustain )
Safety audits as part of our Lean Manufacturing efforts
Automation of data collection
End-to-End process mapping
Participate in Kaizen Events
Assist in performing our internal RCI assessment
Preparation of RCI training materials
Presenting RCI training
Preparation of supplier score cards & attendance at supplier meetings
Assist in evaluating potential new suppliers
Preparation of new and revision of existing ISO-9001 Work Instructions
Trend analyses for poor quality performance, including root cause analyses, developing countermeasures, documenting action items, A3 reporting and follow-up
Qualifications
Anticipated to graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree (B.S.) in Engineering by June 30, 2020.
Available to work full time during summer 2019.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
Interest in analyzing and improving engineering and manufacturing processes
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to travel.
Enjoys working collaboratively.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
