Sr. HR Business Partner

Quad/Graphics is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) to be based in our Chalfont, PA print facility and will support this location in addition to our location in Waukee, IA.  As a strategic business partner, the Sr. HRBP will lead all HR practices, programs and objectives to provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes:  empowerment; quality; productivity; goal attainment; along with strategic recruitment support and solutioning, retention, engagement, employer relations, and ongoing talent development of a quality workforce.  The Sr. HRBP serves as an internal consultant to our leaders on Human Resource, Labor Relations and Compliance related matters.  The Sr. HRBP will manage relationships with union local leaders and have a thorough understanding of collective bargaining agreements.  Essential for the Sr. HRBP to be able to work with union leadership and management to resolve complex issues; provide counsel as required and to partner with business executives and  local operations business leaders regarding interpretation and adherence to contract agreement terms.  A key component of this position will be Compliance management and ensuring the compliance requirements and guidelines as well as training are in accordance with our program requirements.   Duties and Responsibilities:   Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy. Supports senior HR and Legal teams in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, grievance meetings and step write-ups; arbitrations, and other Union related activities. Acts as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation as required by the business and the Company. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies.  Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation. Provides performance management guidance to leaders to include coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.  in accordance with policies and agreements.   Manage and resolve more complex employee relations issues.  Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.  Basic investigations may be managed through the tiering structure of our Employee Services team.   Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.   Practice a safe work environment and ensure consistency of practices.   QualificationsQualified candidates will be a self-directed HRBP with at least 7 years of HRBP experience and strong labor relations experience. At least 5-7 years of labor relations experience with a deep subject matter knowledge, and strong communication and interpersonal skills that enables him or her to work successfully and independently on a broad spectrum of labor relations issues pertaining to three Collective Bargaining Agreements.   The incumbent should have at least 5 years of experience managing in a union environment and managing union relationships.  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and a PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.  Successful candidates must have a thorough understanding of Human Resources Management and employment laws and regulations, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in Manufacturing, working with employees at both a plant and senior management level, along with strong facilitation and problem solving skills are required.  Strong organizational ability and self-directed drive to complete tasks/projects as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.  Job ID 10720

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
